Lily Allen wears….

Yeah you guessed it! A WIG. No really?!

Well from the what I’ve seen of Lily Allen she loves her wigs as much as I do. However I like mine to be a little more subtle than some of the ones that Lily likes to wear. Then again if I was into show business I’d be a little more in your face with it.

The one wig that Lily Allen wore was the long blond one which looked really good on her. I’d always thought that dark hair suited her best but then she rocked out looking foxy in the long blond number.

So that’s a celeb rocking a hot wig….Unfortunately some celebs are determined to give wigs a bad rap…

I think the the award for a celeb wearing the most god awful wig…..(drum roll please)……… must go to Cher.

Cher has many hair styles and wigs. During her long 40 year career in the spotlight, Cher has worn virtually every color of hair style or wig available in the market. During the most recent appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Cher wore a blonde hair style with rough curls. Read more…

What are Monofilament Wigs?

I wondered about that as well when I started to delve into the world of wigs…

What are Monofilament Wigs?

If you have looked at websites that sell wigs, you have probably seen that some of them offer monofilament wigs. This type of wig usually costs a lot and is considered to be the most comfortable and desirable. But what makes it so? Learn what a monofilament wig is, and if it would benefit you to get one.

Most wigs on the market are machine-made and have fabric caps. In contrast, a monofilament wig cap is made from a special material which is very thin, mostly transparent and pleasing to the touch. In a monofilament wig, each hair strand is hand knotted to the cap, which lets it turn more freely.

Usually monofilament wigs are made from real human hair. A monofilament cap takes time to make, so there is no point in making top quality wigs from synthetic materials. Besides, synthetic fibres are not as durable as natural human hairMost modern wigs marked “monofilament wig” are actually only partially monofilament. Usually the most important part of the wig, the top, is monofilament, while the back has a more traditional construction. This reduces the cost of the wig and makes it easy to adjust with tape tabs. These ensure that your wig fits snugly on your head and will not slide..Read more…

Pets n Wigs…

Oh my goodness….I’ve never seen anything like this.

So there I was surfing the net when I came across this. Don’t ask me what I typed into google I’m wondering myself. So these are the must have accessory item for dogs. For the pet that is having a bad hair day.

I’m unsure if this is legal….

Dogs With Wigs

Yes i am aware that dressing animals and stuff like that is pathetic and lame, but i have nothing better to do with my time than post stuff like this.
I still think that whomever did this really deserves to die, but what’s done is done, so here it goes..
Let the animal wig parade begins.

If you are insane enough check the rest of the pics.

It would seem that this is a growing trend. It hasn’t hit in Staffordshire but seems to have started in California!

Are wigs for dogs a barking mad idea?

Bringing a new meaning to the phrase “Doggy Style” a company in California has started selling wigs for dogs.

Total Diva Pets produce the wigs which are made specifically to fit your pooch and range from an Afro to a blonde bob.

The pet wigs are the brainchild of sisters Jenny and Crissy Slaughter. Several years ago the pair tried to find hairpieces for their dogs to wear in a parade, but were unable to find any that fitted.

As a result they made their own, and say the response they got was so good they decided to go into business … who knew seeing people pointing and laughing meant you have a successful business idea. Read more….
