What is an Instant Weave?
One thing you shouldn’t do with a Lacefront Wig
In my never ending research on Lace Wigs and Lace Front wigs, I saw this and had to post it! It’s about a mother who decided that her child (baby) wasn’t too young to look like Beyonce …Read more here
I’m all for wig wearing, I’m a little unsure of whether the wig was properly attached or not. If not then that is a photo that that child will want to destroy when she’s older.
In case you’re wondering how the Lace Wig was attached, I’ve added the instructional video below which uses both liquid adhesive and double sided tape. techniques.
Lace Front Wigs, Walker Ultra Hold Liquid Glue/Adhesive and Paint Brushes..
I’m really excited and had to post about my bargain purchase that is going to help me to better attach my Lace Wig!! Whoa Hoo!!
I’ve been wearing Wigs, Lace Front Wigs and Full Lace Wigs for a few years. As you know I love them and my most favourite wigs are the Lace Front Wigs and Lace Wigs or otherwise called Full Lace Front Wigs as the base of the wig is constructed wholly of either Swiss or French Lace.
For the last 3 months I’ve been wearing a Lace Front Wig using initially using Walker Liquid Adhesive then double sided tape and this weekend I am going to put my Lace Wig back on for a while. To attached the Lace Wig I use Walker Ultra Hold Adhesive but I don’t use the brush that comes with the adhesive.
Oh no no no…I used to use a QP or cotton bud, as it’s known in the UK but that would leave some of the cotton on my skin. Then I bought a really cost effective paint brush, which lasted for a about 3-4 applications of the Walker Liquid Adhesive . On the weekend I went into my local store of Wikinson’s, a shop selling health and Beauty and Home product and found a pack of paint brushes. Slim thin painters brushes and it only cost .97p! Yes that’s right a pack of 15 brushes, thin paint brushes, for the bargain price of .97p!!
I understand that you may think that I should get out more often, and you may be right, however I’ve been looking for some thin paint brushes to use for a long time and these are absolutely amazing!
Why? I hear you ask. Well this is so that I can put a thin layers of Walker Ultra Hold on my skin, juts below the hairline. If you have never used Walker Ultra Hold, you’ll have not seen the brush that comes with it. You just know that a man was behind the manufacture of that product. The brush that comes with the glue is the size of the brush you use to sweep your kitchen floor. Which then leads to the adhesive getting into your hair or at the very least onto your hairline, which is a big no no.
So that you can understand my excitement. When you purchase the Walker Ultra Hold Liquid Glue/Adhesive you’ll receive 2 free brushes. This is for a limited period only so grab them while you can and you can Whoa Hoo with me!
